Pokémon Creepypasta –Abandonment Hurts

I have always been a fan of the Pokémon series ever since I was 2 in 1998 when it came out. I didn't really know that it was a game at first so I just watched the TV. show. Then I played my first Pokémon licensed game: Pokémon Pinball at my doctor's office on his Gameboy colors in the waiting room but finally when I was 5 I would Finally get my own Pokémon game for my own Purple see-through Gameboy color that I had gotten for my 5th birthday along with Pokémon Crystal Version. I loved that thing to death I played it all the time even though I couldn't read some of it but I still loved it all the same.

I popped in the cartridge and watched as the Gameboy screen flickered on with a "Ding!" and watched my first Pokémon journey unfold as something rushed past in the grass and a Pichu and Wooper  came up to see what it was. There it was: Suicune running through the fields. I thought it was beautiful and then the title screen came up. I pressed START, NEW GAME and Professor Oak popped up to introduce me to the world of Pokémon. I chose my gender: Girl and My name Kristin even though Kris was in the name box and started off in quiet New Bark Town.

I started off in my room and I wandered around until I finally went downstairs. I was greeted by my "Mom" and given my pokegear and the option to get daylight savings time and for her to save my money. I didn't know what daylight savings time was so I just left it off and let her save my money and went out of the house.
New bark Town was brimming with liveliness and happy music filled the air. I saw a read headed girl on the side of the lab and went up to her to only be yelled at and kicked back 2 spaces. I brushed it off and went inside the lab to find a man named Professor Elm. He said that he'd give me a Pokémon to start my journey and go to Mr. Pokémon's house. I looked at the three choices: Totodile, Cyndaquil or Chikorita. I chose the female Cyndaquil and we were off!

I captured many Pokémon on that journey A Hoothoot that evolved into a Noctowl, The Red Gyrados, the Eevee that Bill gives you that evolved into an Umbreon, The egg that the Daycare gives you that hatched into a shiny Smoochum and Suicune. But soon as time passed I got into the newer Pokémon games and other things like the Sonic series and Crystal was slowly forgotten and pushed under my bed.
I had aged to be 14 and my not-so-many friends and I started doing more stuff together. But I just wanted to go back and relive my 5yr old childhood for a day so I dug out my see- through Gameboy and Pokémon Crystal and started it up. Waves of nostalgia flooded me as the faintly familiar title screen popped up and I pressed START, CONTINUE GAME. I had last saved at the Pokémon League building and I checked my party. All of them were there, my precious teammates. I clicked on Typhlosion's summary to look at her for the first time in 9 years but something about her made me almost fall off my bed: Typhlosion was pale and nothing but skin and bone and she had slash marks on her body all over. A message popped up: WHERE WERE YOU?  WE'VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG. Suddenly the lights in my room flickered and I jumped. "Stupid storm." I said quietly to myself. YOU LEFT US! Typhlosion seemed to say and I quickly checked the rest of my party. They were the same way: Bloody wounds and skinny. Suddenly another message popped up. It read "YOU LEFT US UNDER THERE TO STARVE IN DARKNESS AND PAIN! DON'T YOU LOVE US?" All my Pokémon wailed. "No I do lo-" I started to say but the screen flickered and my character was sent into darkness.

The room was dimly lit and the music changed to a low backwards version of Red/Blue/Yellow's Lavender town played. The room I was in seemed to be the upper level of the Kanto Radio tower where the guard wouldn't let you in normally but as I looked harder at the screen there were tombstones with bodies of dead Pokémon laying on top of them instead of buried underneath. (How they buried things on the 2nd and 3rd floor I'll never know.) I screamed and checked my party again but this time they all had 0 HP and I had just healed them. Even when I tried to heal them with revives all the game said was: Cannot heal (Pokémon's name) is DEAD. "No. This can't be happening! I said. Suddenly the corpses of the dead Pokémon started moving. The music slowed to a quick stop and everything went grayscale "ABANDONMENT HURRRRTTTTSSSSSSSSS." Said a message that popped up. I looked at my character and gasped. Her whole body was blood red with arms torn off and eyes ripped out. My Typhlosion and my whole team were gathered around her. Taking turns eating away at her flesh until everything went black. One last message popped up. It read: REMEMBER TO ALWAYS WATCH YOUR BACK KRISTIN MICHELLE. Blood dripped down on the screen and the Gameboy batteries died. I breathed hard at the thought of the game actually knowing my middle name and took the game out and threw it in the attic. Just then my cat's eyes started glowing a crimson red color.
My first Creepypasta ever I hope it's good for a first.

I made fanart for this story! [link]

This was one of the best creepypastas I've ever seen, you know it's just a normal story but at the same time you got the impact this do, after I read this I was scared of playing my old save of pokémon silver, this story was just simply brilliant, I don't think I'll read another pokémon creepypasta that's more impactant than that, this was sad, after I read this I never abandoned another pokémon n my games, and sometimes I'm still scared of playing some of them, your story was just amazing, you changed my day, to a scary day, but I liked it, it was boring after all, you did a great job writing this, congratulations

This story is very good, but it does have some flaws in it. I could count multiple punctuation errors and the story was riddled with cliches. The one part that I had the worst time with was in the first paragraphs, which I could find multiple points where periods and commas needed to be put in. However I do give you points on how this was at least entertaining, and it sure gave a good impression. For anyone who's reading this I really suggest reading this one story since, if you can overlook it's flaws, it can be a really enjoyable story.

Was pretty good, but omg. I've read MILLIONS of stories like this. The bit with, 'the pokemon gathered around and took turns eating the characters flesh' is way too overdone. Even if the Pokemon had been abandoned, they said asked the character do you love us still? I doubt that the Pokemon Themselves would be EATING Kristin, when they thought that she loved them. Which she had.
All around a good story, I enjoyed it ^.^
